“When angels cry,” Lyrics by Iyonda Woolfork She sits all alone with time, heavy thoughts tease her mind, No one come to ease the pain a diluted shadow is what remain Casting on eyes her failing heart, not just broken, torn apart God take this heart to your hand give it peace, patience and might open the soul to see your sight Should there be a better time to make things right take away the tears when angels cry Looking up, as to say one last prayer his skin kissed by the air I see tears from his eye hands to the sky he mutter WHY All seem so wrong how can he go on if his life fade today, his troubles be gone Something changed that day, sorrows melt away Standing with a new breath, with eyes now dry no more tears left God take this heart to your hand give it peace, patience and might open the soul to see your sight Should there be a better time to make things right take away the tears when angels cry No longer looking to see herself as before No longer a distant cousin to himself. She can trust in her mind, God has made things right He can feel in his soul, God wont ever let go Colored with roses, touched from the sky N'r g'in a moment should a angel cry God take this heart to your hand give it peace, patience and might open the soul to see your sight Should there be a better time to make things right take away the tears when angels cry
