Story behind the song
I built this lap steel. I used an old 70's Les Paul pickup. I had some pick guard material that matched the pickup mount color. I found a 250 k pot and a tele knob in my spare parts box. I decided to keep things simple and used those. then I strung the steel up with four strings. it is tuned open E. E G#BE from low to high. this turned out ok. a fun project and a monstrous sonic triad machine.
