Music has always been a special joy to me. While still a child I enjoyed classical guitar and piano lessons. While growing up I had opportunity to play for our church youth group. More recently I have begun to write songs. They vary widely in style and are not confined to any one genre. My goal is to please the One who is the song-giver; to honour Him in all I write and play. It is my sincere desire that the Lord uses the music I write to draw people closer to Himself. Wherever you are at in relationship to God, may this music touch your heart and be a blessing to you.

Story behind the song
"I want to pray, but I don't know what to say," is the main idea of this song from a stormy heart.
Lyrics
Verse 1 I come before you Lord, but I don’t know how to pray. There's so much on my mind – I don’t know what to say. Please calm the storm that's raging in me. Verse 2 I cry to you Lord, I just feel like dying. Life is just too hard, I want to give up trying. Please calm the storm that's raging in me. Verse 3 I don't know what happened, nor why I hurt so bad. I must have done something, God, to make you mad? Please do not be angry; please don't turn away! Verse 4 I want to believe, Lord, that you’ll always stay. But I get so frightened that you’ll walk away. Please do not be angry; please don't walk away! Bridge They say you're no like others who’ve hurt me in the past. They say your love is different; your love will always last. Lord, I do remember you have shown me you care. Even in my trials you were always there. You say to my soul, “Peace, be still.” I know it's you, Lord (3x) Verse 5 Thank you that you've heard me; you’ve listened to this prayer. Thank you that you're willing all my burdens to bear. You say to my soul, “Peace, be still.” I know it's you, Lord (3x) Verse 6 I come before you Lord, I don’t know how to pray. There's so much on my mind – but now I hear you say - Spoken: “Come unto me, and I will give you rest; I will still the raging storm in your soul.” Sing: Verse 7 “Come unto me, and I will give you rest; I will still the raging storm in your soul.” (2x) I will still the raging storm in your soul.”
