Gospel/Christian Bible-based songs
Music has always been a special joy to me. While still a child I enjoyed classical guitar and piano lessons. While growing up I had opportunity to play for our church youth group. More recently I have begun to write songs. They vary widely in style and are not confined to any one genre. My goal is to please the One who is the song-giver; to honour Him in all I write and play. It is my sincere desire that the Lord uses the music I write to draw people closer to Himself. Wherever you are at in relationship to God, may this music touch your heart and be a blessing to you.

Lyrics
Refrain My soul will magnify the Lord I will sing and give thanks unto His name He has rescued me from the gates of death His love endures forevermore Verse 1 I wandered in a waste land, finding no home in city or town my life was going nowhere I could not settle down So hungry and thirsty, my energy ebbed away Then I cried to the Lord and He delivered me that day verse 2 in darkness and in deepest gloom a prisoner was I suffering and bound in chains I had rebelled against God Most High Worn out from working like a slave Alone and so afraid Then I cried to the Lord and He came to my aid verse 3 so foolish and rebellious I followed sinful ways In terrible pain I hated food I could not live another day In serious trouble I would have been in my grave Then I cried to the Lord And from my distress was saved Verse 4 I travelled over land and sea And saw God’s wonderful deeds But then there came a terrible storm And I was in desperate need Tossed about by the mighty waves My courage melted away Then I cried to the Lord And the sea hushed, His voice obeyed
