Music has always been a special joy to me. While still a child I enjoyed classical guitar and piano lessons. While growing up I had opportunity to play for our church youth group. More recently I have begun to write songs. They vary widely in style and are not confined to any one genre. My goal is to please the One who is the song-giver; to honour Him in all I write and play. It is my sincere desire that the Lord uses the music I write to draw people closer to Himself. Wherever you are at in relationship to God, may this music touch your heart and be a blessing to you.

It’s Been So Long CCLI Song No. 4405524 Key: C Verse 1 Lord, it’s been so long Since I have met with You. Your Word lies dusty on my shelf Beside a list of “things-to-do.” I used to praise You in the congregation And tell how good You are Now I sit here silent Feeling uncomfortable so far. Verse 2 Jesus, I’ve let my heart grow cold Old habits have taken hold Now I no longer hear the cries Of those with heavy loads. If you wrote down all the wrongs I’ve done Your list would span a mile Oh Father, please don’t turn away From me, your wayward child. Verse 3 I want to turn back to You To be close as I once was. Growing in my walk with You Draw me near as Your Spirit does. Once again I’ll shout Your praises, Rehearse Your awesome deeds. I will obey Your Holy Word And reach out to those in need. Verse 4 You have given much to me I’m blessed beyond all measure. My cup is running over I want to serve and bring You pleasure. Lord, let me walk with You always Not just now and again. Your Word lies open on my desk, On my heart’s throne You reign (2x).
