Downtempo electronic pop-rock and New Age similar to Enigma, Delerium, Jens Gad and Triangular Regression. Concept albums and guest vocalists.
Hollow Studios had its origins in 1997 when I started experimenting with electronic music. I soon realized that it was quite a relaxing pastime and soon I had enough songs for an album. At that stage mp3.com was just starting to make waves so I decided to put my works there under the name Triangular Regression.
As everyone knows, mp3.com is now defunct but I haven't stopped making music. Listening through the 10 albums I have produced since that time it's easy to find a common thread, but also a definite evolutionary progression. I recently revamped the studio and thought that a change of band name would be in order. I chose Voyager (initially Vger but that sounded too mechanical). I now own this band name on TheBandRegistry, if anybody asks :)
Voyager's sound is complicatedly textured synthetic with processed vocals. Still, it's easy to listen to even in the car.
