Story behind the song
A friend of mine wrote a poem about a dark, mysterious forest, and the images that came to my mind as she read it to me inspired this song the next day. I played it for her on the phone, and she couldn't believe it! She said that it portrayed through music exactly what she was trying to portray through poetry. The second half is once again about a friendship. It's about having a nice conversation with a best friend at a quiet coffee shop. Time like that is precious, and that's what the song is about.
