Hello - I'm Bobby Nichols. I'm a singer/songwriter/musician/performer. Right now I'm trying to hone my skills as a songwriter while trying to maintain everything else. I live in Northeastern Wisconsin because I was born and raised here. It gets cold in the winter, but not real hot in the summer. There is anything that can bite you and kill you, and there aren't really any natural disasters to speak of. It is my dream to make it into the fold and be able to make enough money from songwriting where I could live a decent life without starving. This way I could be successful and still be able to stay out of the tabloids.

Story behind the song
My favorite co-writer, Jodie had and idea for a song. It started out as "Scaling down, Living it up" and became "Something out of Nothing." I don't know how these things happen.
Lyrics
Something out of Nothing ©Jodie Lee/Bobby Nichols When we came home from the Dollar General There were the Jones’ on their patio They got steaks on their grill; we got hot dogs for ours We’re watching every dollar, ‘cause they don't go too far Lost my job, found time for my family We don't have as much, but we got plenty (Chorus) We're scaling down - living it up I can't remember having this much fun We’re Cuttin coupons and cuttin back, turned in the keys to the Cadillac Now, when I come home, the kids come runnin’ Life is much better now Making something out of nothing We got storm clouds rollin’ in from the west The Jones’ are runnin’; they don’t wanna get wet We grabbed our kids and went runnin’ too Straight to the puddle with a bottle of shampoo We deal with the day, it don’t have to be sunny We can still have fun, when we run out of money Chorus I let that corporate world steal my soul, and I let it take away my time But now I realize, what's important in life are things money can't buy Chorus
