Story behind the song
Brian Archibald had written the riff a few years before The Vicious Fishes started playing music. Ray Chmielewski wrote the words one night and the rest is history.

The royal blue cape
over the back of the king it is draped
Who's land has been pillaged
Who's queen has been raped

but now rather a place to hide
