To put it politely I pulled this song out of thin air. The recording and writing process took less than 15 minutes. The riff is a basic twelve bar blues played with distortion and a little whammy bar action for some flavor. The concept of one track mind was a perversion of the “one take time” since I recorded the guitar with no flubs in one take. I kept humming " one take time" but then realized it didn't work and when I put on the headphones to lay down the lead vocals I improvised all of the lyrics and the song took on a life of its own. It actually comes off OK as a solo acoustic number in spite of the simple lyrics and chord progression.
