Recorded in a basement. The drums are a blank. I played a Fender Bass, a Rick 12 String and a Strat and sang the vocals. This was recorded on a Teac reel to reel. sometime in the mid 1980s. This was transferred from an old cassette to PC

I've been a all round guitarist, singer songwriter for over 35 years now. In September of 2000, I was disabled in a near fatal automobile accident. I lost the ability to use my left hand. I could no longer play, sing, write or walk. After 7 year the use of my left hand suddenly came back. I can also walk a bit with help. I am just starting to play again, but there won't be anything new for awhile. I am going to clean up some old recordings I made from the 70s to the 90s. I will submit them here as a history of my life in music. I hope you like them. Thank you all so much. I love you all, Wayne, (Blueslogic) (2003)

Story behind the song
I wrote this song after I broke up with someone and found someone new. I think I wrote it to to get even with her. I really don't remember who the drummer was. I hope you enjoy it. It was fun to do, playing all the other parts.
Lyrics
I Never Thought That I'd Ever Fall This Hard There were some girls that I might have wanted before Fantasy women, walked right through my door But you were the last one, I ever thought I'd love I should have seen it coming But I never went this far I never thought that I'd ever fall this hard No, I never thought that I'd ever fall this hard Baby, this girl that I met makes me feel so good She won't give me things that I want, though she knows she could She tells me I've got to be strong and make up my mind She's just what I've always wanted She's just what I'm looking for I never thought that I'd ever fall this hard No, I never thought that I'd ever fall this hard Baby I know that you're sad, cause I've hurt you again But this girl don't want me, so maybe this isn't the end So tell me you love me, and tell me that you'll be my friend And I'll never talk about it No, I'll never mention her name Cause I never thought that I'd ever fall this hard No, I never thought that I'd ever fall this hard Wayne Whiteside Copyright September 25, 1982
