Urban Rescue Squad was formed in the summer of 2010. DJ Andromeda a DJ with over 20 years experience in the club and rave industry saw an opportunity to partner with a young upstart named DJ Prototype and together they formed URS. URS is a techno/Electronica crew laying down beats and mixes that have an infectious groove and danceable sound. The real driving force behind Urban Rescue Squad is the fact that they are christian, though their faith does influence their music. If you were to listen to them you would never hear a reference to their faith, they save that for the live shows. They merely put out positive music that reaches the underground world and shakes them to the core with driving bass and rhythmic grooves.
