In Hip Hop right now, it's exactly what we need. That real sh** .
Black...and a mage. If you consider yourself a rapper, someone who understands standing over a boiling pot for hours and adding ingredients or who frequently h
I began hip hop when i was 8 but never took it seriously until my freshmen year of high school. I was a battle rapper for most of my musical career but made the transition over to artist/musician/ghost writer when i found out i had a knack for song writing. I was always more of a street performer type. Moving music on my feet always felt more personal but this is the digital age and i might as well get digital. I have lots of influences but an eclectic mix of musical influences ranging from death metal screaming through hip hop all the way to free form jazz keep me from sounding like anyone you've ever heard. The power is in the voice. Don't really know what else to add so I guess i'll just add as I go. But it all starts here.
Story behind the song
People think being a musician is all about the bull sh** people rap and sing about. There's a whole lot more to this life than most know. I just figured i'd let you know how it really is.
Lyrics
I swear I saw 2 middle aged white women in snuggies doin dougies,
I'm like "Motherf*** me!" I'm better than that
So many people fail i figure it might BE hard
But soulja boy did it and he's a FLYING f*** ing retard (Yoooouuuu!)
But everytime they say "no not now"
cause i ain't got a dance move or a robot sound
How am I the clown when i got so much flo i almost drown in my sleep
and i keep flippin out and pounding the sheets
and I laugh but i'm not happy, these looney tunes are crappy
young money kinda bugs me but laffy taffy made me daffy
number 1 did it have to be...really...actually?
I'm back to teach the youth how to speak the truth
I'll blow the roof off a track, bob burnquist how i beat the loop
I'll superman you if i reach the booth so look up!
It's that muhf*** ing man in reebok's
who landed in the streets like hancock with a damn stomp
Chorus: What we needin is the real... (The real x4)
"Nah let me get this" Dog "When he spits its" Ahhh
ain't nobody strong as me
so you need to sing the song with me
cause what we needin is the real... (The real x4)
Black music!, Black music! ahhh
ain't nobody strong as me
so you need to sing the song with me
cause what we needin is the real
Verse 2: You ever felt trapped, claustrophobic in your own skin
Lookin in the mirror and watching the walls close in
got a mind full of hot lines that you phone in
the vice of life is twice as tight your situation's no win
no doubt trying to zone out so you don't zone in
and accidently look at life, that's until he took the mic
honed his jaws owned his flaws and exploded
sick of watching these rappers suck until their squad implodes in
Emotional walls fold in and fall like it's Berlin's
~Dinner Time~
n*** s on the peddle don't know when to ride
n*** i'd, get set for genocide,
So I guess it's time to shut this playground down this ain't finna slilde
See the flo is like the motion in the ocean
but my explosive emotions make it impossible to stop the psychosis
that's been provoking me to flood the midwest ~Yes~
worse than when i broke up with katrina call FEMA it's the real!
Chorus
Verse 3: I am born to this world just like you, a conqueror in conquered land
comparable to conqubines in constant people's cons and plans
til fate intervenes, sayin they sleep mage hit the scene
cause they sleep walkin and you're chasing a dream
Now I ain't trying to take first place
But when i see BS, obviously this ain't an amazing race
the radio sounds like the biggest loser, stage full of friggin hoosiers
I'll take this game to the grave if i have to just to prove
You're killing me, silly me the real are feelin villany
a hero's gettin zero and some weirdos stealing million's please
can we get back to talent, i know dude
this ain't american idol i have something to show you
scream at me, the bounce kill crowds
so if you wanna holla you just shout real loud
but i know you trying to rebound and detox that awful music
It's ok, I'll walk you through it, it's the real
Chorus
Finale: And me i'm thinking no, this is autotune before autotune
Back when raps got claps and cats they was harder too
and i don't dance you alright with that
if you don't like rap get off hip hop's sack cause that's where it's at
I'm saying no, this is autotune before autotune
Back when raps got claps and cats they was harder too
and i don't dance you alright with that
if you don't like rap get off hip hop's sack that's where it's at
IT'S THE REAL
