Lyrics
Away in a Manger Traditional, arr. Cathy Neff Fourth verse music and lyrics by: Cathy Neff Away in a manger no crib for His bed. The little Lord Jesus lay down His sweet head. The stars in the heavens look down where He lay, The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay. The cattle are lowing; the poor Baby wakes. But little Lord Jesus no crying He makes. I love Thee Lord Jesus look down from the sky And stay by my cradle ‘til morning is nigh. Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay Close by me forever and love me, I pray. Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care And fit us for heaven to live with Thee there. Now we Thy dear children we thank Thee this day For all Thou hast given to show us the way. We promise to love Thee and serve Thee on earth And always remember to honor Thy birth. And always remember to honor Thy birth. Copyright 2011 Honor White Stone
