You mean Demond's Bio, right? O.K., Music has been such a part of my life that I literally started singing even before I could talk. Don't believe me? Ask my mother, she'll tell you and she's always been opposed to me playing music. I was three years old and knew all the lyrics to The Spinners "Games People Play". As a teen, I taught myself how to play guitar and synthesizer in order to make the unique and unusual songs that I had been writing in my head for years before come to life. For many more years, I tried unsuccessfully to find like-minded musicians in RI who, like myself, wanted to create new and exciting styles of music from scratch. Instead, I only kept running into people who either wanted to sound exactly like whatever big grunge or alternative band was around at the time or copy their favorite bands and players note for note. So instead of settling for the status quo, I learned how to work a sequencer so I could completely build the songs I wrote. No more searching for other musicians now; as long as I'm in RI, I will be doing my own songs on my own. Now that I'm fast approaching 50 and that I'm clearly not in touch with the mainstream, American Idol, nu-rap, nu-country and Beyonce dominated music scene, I've decided to just stick to what I've always been into and throw it all in a blender. I am evolving musically but I'm following my own path at the same time.

Lyrics
Bring It On Verse 1 When I said I don’t rap Some people took it in the wrong way like it was a slap Rocker dudes smiled with pride Some even thought I was on their side but they got denied F*** their culture war ‘Cause that bull sh** only keeps the poor fighting the poor As the rich folks cheer and holler for more Can you hear ‘em screamin’? More, more, more, more! West Philadelphia born, but not raised Livin’ in Rhode Island got me crazed That’s because Jim Crow’s still in effect Pushin’ 40 and don’t get respect Ain’t ever gonna bow down to you And if you got a problem wit’ dat screw you Wanna f*** wit’ me? Think you got the brawn? Then step the f*** up and bring it on Chorus If you’re tryin’ to put me in my place then bring it on If you’re tryin’ to put me in my place then bring it on But as soon as you get into my face your life is gone Verse 2 If you hate me because of my silence Feel my motherf*** in’ aura of violence I could snap anytime, anywhere On anyone. I don’t care so you’d better beware Blues got an Elm Street and I’m the Freddy Kruger Music’s pumped up like Lex Luger It’s on steroids, don’t get me annoyed My rage is somethin’ that you wanna avoid Now out in the sticks Some people hate people like me and I don’t wanna fix We just can’t mix I’ll end up gettin’ tried by twelve and them gettin’ carried by six That’s right, shot down dead Straight to the head wit’ da lead yeah, you heard what I said Piece of sh** crossburner, you’ve been warned Wanna do somethin’ ‘bout it then bring it on Chorus If you’re tryin’ to put me in my place then bring it on If you’re tryin’ to put me in my place then bring it on But as soon as you get into my face your life is gone Verse 3 One racist, one bullet If my finger’s on the trigger, I’ll pull it With no remorse, no pity As long as I’m stuck here, my attitude will be sh** ty The more things change, the more they stay the same Anger and hate will always remain Dreams get destroyed in the end I’m the only one on whom I can depend Now out in the street Some people wanna walk up on me and we didn’t meet So I’ll repeat You ever try dat sh** to me, you’re gettin’ more than your f*** in’ ass beat Oh yeah, and f*** Pantera and f*** Motley Crue And if you’re offended then f*** you too Like they say in Philly, my style’s the jawn Got a problem wit’ it? Then bring it on
