This song I wrote in about an hour. I came up with the riff and the song just kinda poured out.Its not about anyone in preticular, just manny guys ive seen at the bar with thier head in thier hands sulking. Its the first song we recorded together and there is a new version on our soon to be released CD "Nothing Lasts Forever."
Lyrics
he has grown older and shes me the years like fine wine over his shoulder it watches the times pass him by they never laugh with each other no more the embers of love fade to grey all of his money and all he worked for cant buy relief from the pain its clear that shes leaving he cant think of nothing to say stands like a statue and watches her walking away now that shes gone he just passes his days self medicates his disease alcohol just serves to thickin the haze he prays for his sorrow to cease its been four years now since he gave up on this life bitter and angry he blames it all on his ex-wife she has moved on she wants all she can get all that she gave up for him she thinks of him often but dosent regret its a much better place that shes in he has grown older and shes met the years like fine wine
