I am a songwriter. Whenever I am strongly moved I get a song. They come lyric and melody, a verse or chorus with imagined instrumentation I can never quite reproduce. I used to bring my songs to the band, start singing with my clumsy guitar or keyboard playing outlines and the band would fill in the colors, bringing the song to life. These days I am crafting my songs myself, using the amazing assortment of audio interfaces and plug-ins to create intriguing stories in sound. Imagining the tracks supporting the mood or emotion of a scene or creating the excitement to support action in a game.

Story behind the song
My beautiful and talented friend Ed Arnold passed away 2 years ago. His heart and guitar playing are a big part of my music. Whenever someone asks me about him I find my eyes filling up with tears...
Lyrics
I Still Fight the Tears It's been a while since you went away But in my mind it feels like yesterday They say that time will heal the emptines I feel They tell me I'll get stronger if I wait a little longer But I still fight the tears when someone says your name It's like Im losing you all over again I can't keep my eyes from spilling over running down my face like rain on a window pane I feel so sad I hurt so bad I miss the love we had for each other I don't believe there will be another,...love like you I still fight the tears, I still feel the pain It's like losing you again and again I can't stop my eyes from spilling over running down my face like rain on a window, pain I feel so sad, I hurt so bad I miss the love we had for each other I don't believe there will be another, ...love like you 2011 Madeline Preisner
