I'm Joe Johnson a local United Methodist Pastor. Before I felt God calling me into the ministry I thought I was going to be a rap artist. For 8 years I did nothing with music until my wife introduced me to a group called "The Gospel Gansters" in 1998. It was an eye opening experience. I was amazed to see people using rap for the glory of God. That day I picked up paper and pen and I haven't put it down yet.

Story behind the song
I had my friends come over from Iowa. We like to go to the studio so I had one song ready. I was suppose to be working on my sermon when I got this tune in my head. I couldn't get rid of it so I finished the whole thing in two hours instead of working on my sermon, but I keep changing the words and was never finished it
