Story behind the song
Snot that bad
Lyrics
There’s attack on all fronts. Rusty scientific method. Catch the wind, you’ll catch a fire. All the sea lions are naked. Hanging Gardens and Olympia, Colossus, Mausoleum, the Lighthouse at Alexandria The pyramids of Egypt. Should you wonder what the world’s missing? No. One. Might see. Not satisfied. Could that stomp sailed relationships? Would it keep the wood petrified? Who decides? While you’re devising schemes, It seems, the aforementioned ignorance left all this inquiry. In a sense of innocence: an empty soul needs faith to feed on. In defense: an empty faith leaves too much for imagination. Waiting on patience to hurry up and show me my “life’s lesson”, Some may try to live the Answer. Others, somehow, kill the question. Concentrate on consequence. Why would we try to meet your standards? But all your questions died today, So there’s no need for answers. Vanish. Disappear. Listen. Clear liquids into solids. Any moment you’ll begin to fear our power comes from knowledge that Oh yeah. It’s not that bad. Someone else somewhere has it much worse than what you have. And when you think or feel the world dissolves around you, Get on your feet and play the part to start the uprising in yourself. If you’re feeling like a fish out of water, now we’re in the same boat. Thinking sinking is the only way to cope. It seems nobody knows the problems that put you in your place. And you’re probably pretending that no one can relate. You ain’t even trying. You’re blaming and whining, Complaining and I am so sick and tired of listening to the bitterness, Forgetting all the little things. Missing what I’m trying to sing? Ima be my own king as we cease to believe all the negative things you can think. You just better let us get a little bit of goodness. You’re lucking living life. I’m just trying to prove it’s a gift. And if you want it go get it. So listen up ladies and gentlemen. Since I’m on my soap-box, I guess I feel the need to preach. Didn’t say I told you so, but in the future please Know that it’s not that bad Someone else somewhere has it much worse than what you have Sometimes I’m so superstitious I get too afraid to dream. So I imagine if I swam as a small cod in a large pond, All the super fish will get caught. Not me. But since, cod are salt water, why bother with that talk? It’s just causing problems. Stop the nonsense with this thought, That all you’ve got might not be what you want but what you need. Is that agreed? Become above illusion. Believe in faith in aspiration. Beware of outside mysteries beneath imagination. Now we’re dropping science, hope and knowledge, And provided that you got it, we can all begin to be a part of this good thing that we’ve got going. Love like a soda spilled. (flowing all around) So y’all get down and soak it up and get it. Rebuke the barren drone. That means refuse to be a person who just never learns or grows. Sometimes when I’m slipping I forget. Just remember though Oh yeah. It’s not that bad. Someone else somewhere has it much worse than what you have. Just believe and you’ll see the world revolves around truth. I’m on my feet to play the part and start uprising in myself. Confronting a crisis. The future of the aftermath. Present moment: arrived. We’ve all been drinking since the backlash. Can’t stand introspection. Back and forth between the lives.
