Story behind the song
Twelve Pole is a creek we fished and boated in Wayne county West Virginia. This is inspired by the Southern Rock I grew up listening to. I am playing a Gibson USA Les Paul Studio into an early 90s Peavey Classic Tweed 4x10 with a 1x15 extension cabinet with an Ibenez TS9DX tube Screamer in front of it. Both cabs are miked with SM-57s and I also have a AKG Perception 100 mic up high for room ambiance. I double tracked the main riff by playing it twice to add some depth. The first generation Peavey Classic series s a solid, gigable amp.
