I am not a performer, I am a songwriter. I am not a good singer and I learn to play instruments just well enough to record the songs I write. But I enjoy the craft of songwriting and the recording process. I write simple songs. I like writing story songs. Feedback is always welcomed. Hope you enjoy something here.

Story behind the song
This song got started on a trip. One in a long string of trips. Once again sitting at a bar. I was tired and wondering “what the hell am I doing?”.
Lyrics
Where are we now V1 I sit & think about how we live our lives The many thoughts that this gives rise This fast paced ride that we call living I get a lot less than I seem to be giving Not sure where we're heading, I know where we've been We’ve been on this road since I don’t know when I take a look around me, I don't like what I see So I have got a question for you & me Chorus Where are we now Is this our dream Where are we now What does all this mean Is this where we wanted to be Did we get lost somehow What I really want to know is Where are we now V2 Well it seems to me that we're getting restless And we've both had enough of this I’m not sure how to say it, and I might be wrong But I’ve held my tongue way too long I just can't see where we're bound You sit there without making sound I want you to know I'm not complaining But would you mind explaining Chorus Where are we now Is this our dream Where are we now What does all this mean Is this where we wanted to be Did we get lost somehow What I really want to know is Where are we now © D.
