I started writing songs at the age of 18, and I try to write songs that will touch someone to the core. I love to write and sing songs of all types. I try to challenge myself where I can. One of my biggest challenges is producing the music to my songs. I've always said, I'm a singer/song writer first, and a composer only when I have to be. I'm in it for the music, because to me, that's where it's at, but I sure wouldn't complain, if it went somewhere.
Story behind the song
This is a song I wrote after a recent break up with someone who didn't seem to care as much as I did, and when the reality hit, I knew it was time to try to move on. This song talks about how letting go is the hardest part, and drying the tears is the first step in getting there.
