I played Stairway to Heaven on a pawn shop guitar
I walked down the street and took a right into Kelly's restaurant
Laughed and jojed with some of my friends then I....hit the road
I punched a few numbers and then I hit send ...got my girl on the cell phone
Well Life here is pretty dang good
In a big world its my neighborhood
Here ..most everybody treats you like you wish they would
There's no place that I'd rather be
Surrounded by my friends and family
I know life ain't perfect.....that's understood
But here it's pretty dang good
When the sun comes up I hit the ground running man it's good to have a job
Still all day long I'll be thinking about what I'll do when I get off
Maybe load up the truck...get some buddies of mine and swing down to the fishing hole
Catch some red eye...till I get a ring ring it's my girl on the cell phone....I gotta go
