whos noticed nothing good
he waits all alone in his shell
waiting for things that would never be
true enough to believe in
not enough to wake up from the sleep
so he keeps the saddest reminders close
he finds some comfort in these insecureties
that he holds with nuckles white and raw
in his grasp

the lights grow dim as he looks in to himself
as he slowly fades away
in a world that is so cold,
that he cant get warm
his heart has been replaced
with broken dreams and silent screams
and emprty hopes that just fall apart
