Story behind the song
I wrote this song for Andy Williams to sing in Branson Missouri. There aren't too many songs that mention Missouri and when they do most do not do it justice. I hope everyone enjoys my song and agrees with my lyrics.
Lyrics
Missouri in the Autumn a lovers paradise Missouri in the Autumn can be so very nice. The Ozarks are all blooming with leaves of many shades The quietness and the splendor enhances love we make the leaves softly falling the night air so sweet a feeling of comfort a feeling of peace. Missouri in the Autumn a lovers paradise Missouri in the Autumn can be so very nice. A harvest moon is glowing a crackling fire ablaze an evening with my husband an evening of love and lace the leaves softly falling the night air so sweet a feeling of comfort a feeling of peace. Missouri in the Autumn a lovers paradise Missouri in the Autumn can be so very nice. The leaves softly falling the night air so sweet a feeling of comfort a feeling of peace.
