My name is John McFadyen and I write songs under the name of The Sacred Cowboys. We are country music songwriters based in Newcastle Australia. We mainly write country rock songs but do write other styles of music as well. We offer our services to anyone who is looking to record good country songs, whether it be for album release, to perform live or for movie or TV. I spent some years touring in the USA and Canada and I was pretty much surrounded by country music for a long time, so I've taken bits of Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Tim McGraw, Brooks and Dunn and sort of moulded my style around theirs.
