FDP Jam Tracks
This band page is going to be used for all of the jam tracks that have been posted by the FDP users at the "Home Recording" section at FenderForum.com. Check it out. Folks lay down basic bass/drums/guitar/effect tracks and allow users to add guitar and other parts. Pretty cool.

Story behind the song
The age old tale of one who stays back home, while the other hears the call of the wild. I tried to add more guitars and vocals, but my 2nd guitar part sounded out of tune. The self intonation is OK, so the strings must just need changing. I can't add vocals since laundry, A/C and TV are in full swing right now -- so you all are stuck with a simple guitar/vocal for now. Been awhile since I have written a tune (since FAWM) -- I somehow thought I could rhyme road with world (ha, ha). The lyrics aren't quite done/there yet -- but there is always time for re-writing down the road. Enjoy.
Lyrics
First and Last One On Your Mind (c) Emmrich 2012 (verse) trying to make this work digging around in the dirt planting, making all these crops grow I see the setting sun there's still too much to be done So I put my head down and keep going (chorus) well I'm down at the end of my road while you've been all around the world do you ever take the time to laugh and think about the men in your past well I hope i'm the first and last one on your mind (verse) (hey now) when I think about your smile it sometimes may take a while for me to catch my breath again and just because I'm here and you've been everywhere doesn't mean I've forgotten what it was like back then (chorus again)
