Lyrics
Into The Void -Words and music by Steve Klatt Verse 1 Trinity, July 16th The Gadget sets the stage Journey of Death Enclosed in narrowness and gloom Scientists determine, specific calculations An overwhelming success Chorus 1 Ethical justification Scholarly debate! A single flash out of the sky Controls so many fates Into the void we’re pulling ourselves Into the Void Verse 2 Orders given, directly from the top Clear rejection of surrender, Insured a quick resolution Inflicting destruction Manhattan Project The weapons of death Solo Verse Little Boy and the Fat Man Spoke without a word A brilliant light pierced the early morning sky Chorus 2 Ethical justification Scholarly debate! A second flash From above, holds so many fates Into the void we’re pulling ourselves Into the void -Interlude "I am become Death" "The destroyer of worlds" He said, with terror in his eyes -Chorus 3 Ethical justification Scholarly debate! A single flash, out of the sky Destroys so many fates Into the Void, were pulling ourselves Into the Void! -Verse 4 Lives transformed Before their eyes Families torn apart Who was wrong or who was right? History repeats In the end who’s to blame? For humanity’s defeat -Out Chorus Ethical justification Scholarly debate! A single flash, out of the sky Destroys so many fates Into the Void, were pulling ourselves Into the Void! Copyright 2012 SK Productions
