I joined a celebrate recovery group, and I hated it with a passion. It was a church group, and the things I heard from them, I could relate to. After about a year I grew to love it, so I wrote this song to express the emotions I went through.

I remember the day, when I felt out of place. I was blinded by, self denial, no ability to face reality, that this life, its not about me.

I am powerless, ain't no good in me. I need a higher power to deliver me.
I don't like it here, I wanna shed a tear, revenge and shame, I wanna play this game, and this pride, that is trapped inside, makes me wanna run, and get out of here.
I cant wait for the day, that I learn my place, a believer in peace, without all this grief, and ability to face reality that this life, was given to me.
