Finger style and Acoustic Progressive guitar, flute, synth and Mellotron.
Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

Dear Friend Carlo - For whom the bell tolls?...what a wonderful beginning "hook" for a masterful song! Your instrumentation is superb and overall composition is perfect. This was one of the very best Halloween tunes for the CBC 2012 Halloween Monsters Ball. The song not only has the necessary "scary" elements, but it goes far beyond into the realms of everlasting classic music. Congratulations on your accomplishment, and thank you for the download of this most memorable song.

The steady bell sets the dramatic scenario for the coming of the witch... great intersection of keyboards and guitar with the "dark" beat. Eerie and dramatic feel.

As the half dead creature that once was human emerged from beneath the earth to seek human flesh to devour at his liesure, the unsuspecting couple kissing in the shadows were soon to meet a gruesome death! Need a movie to go along with this fantastic score!

Oh yeah this is real pro soundtrack stuff - I can just see this over the closing credits of a classic horror movie. Fantastic sound pallette (the guitar sounds like it's talking around 3:39 - how'd you do that?) and tense edgey beat, this was a real highlight of the night and I'll be having to keep it! I'm a HPL fan and this is such a well crafted piece - right on topic!! Great work Carlo!!

A great sounding, otherworldly, H.P. Lovecraft inspired atmospheric number (and yes, with hints of an eastern vibe)....pure class, creativity, substance, twists, and textures galore....signature brilliance!

Great undertones of eerieness and mystical hauntingly sounds make this a great sounding track to Vlad's ears. ;) NICE!!!
I really like this one. The sound is typical Carlo, feelings are going into the past and there is a lot to fantasize about while listening. Could be a fantastic soundtrack for a movie.
