A tribute to the beginnings of Experimental Electronic music movement stemming from Germany in the 1970's, with bands like Kraftwerk, Klaus Shulze, Asmus Tietchens and many others. Here is a 200 MPH electro/synth/beat whatever!

Finger style and Acoustic Progressive guitar, flute, synth and Mellotron.
Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

Glad you brought the electronic german movement to the 70's scene, reminds of Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream. Amazing retro synth sounds and playing with overall late 70's feel. Great Job.

Great vibe Carlo, lm hearing Jan Hammer too, love the pace and the pipe chills it out too. incorporating the metronome is very novel. Superb!

This is a very creative arrangement, very melodic nature update, goodness where have the years gone buddy, great song!!!
This is a brilliantly produced song, Carlo. You have captured both the history of electronica rising in the 70's and excellence of musicianship. From song title to your superb playing (and imagination), this song was a highlight of the CBC '70s Song Challenge. Thank you for the memories, and the dl.
Great old electro with a twist. Perfect percussion and great sound effects.

Yes very 70s post punk - early Ultravox, late Bowie, Neu! and yes the amazing Kraftwerk. You always find a new creative angle on every challenge, and this is original and inspired. Loved it.

Buckle up....oh hell yeah, what a surprise! absolutely nailed that whole 70's birth of techno feel and then some! I hear world-wide infused influences as well, a swirling, spinning, thumping trip through the time machine, fricken fantastic!

Wow...yes I remember Kraftwerk! This track reminds me so much of their work, yet there are additional elements that have a signature Carlo element to them - it's like Kraftwerk have been reborn and brought up to date. Awesome arrangement - kept me hooked right to the last note!

This is the funniest one of this challenge for me. Where did you learn the German language? At 1:10 it is suddenly becoming very Carlo-like, when flute is coming in. That flute has got something of the Middle Ages for me and in that time there was no Autobahn. 1:41: We are back on the Autobahn and around 2:50 flute is coming back again. Racing car sounds here and there. I was not really scared in that car of yours, but have to listen to Kraftwerk again.
