Lyrics
She Goes By Many Names
Listen my friends, I wanna tell you for real, I need you to
share a love that I feel. From the time I was born we've been
arm and arm and I will always defend her to keep her from
harm.
I've never been a drunkard and I don't like the pills but
her love is addictive as the blue Kentucky hills.
From the New York harbor to the Francisco bay, I love
this country more than I can say.
Well she goes by many names and the one's I dearly love is
America the beautiful and the land of the free.
America the beautiful and the land of the free.
Well if she's ever threatened she can call on me. I will
always defend her with my life if need be.
There's still a lot of people that likes to put her down
but when your running down my country your treading on bad
ground.
When I wore the uniform I was proud as I could be, I stood
for my country so all could be free.
When our boy's come home after being over there, give em
the thumbs up so they'll know that you care.
Well she goes by many names and the one's I dearly love is
America the beautiful and the land of the free.
America the beautiful and the land of the free.
Many of our solders have died all alone, in some foreign
land so far away from home.
I will always remember and honer them still for saving our
country and my freedom as well.
Well she goes by many names and the one's I dearly love is
America the beautiful and the land of the free.
America the beautiful and the land of the free.
