Story behind the song
I realize that without God I would be a wandering soul depending on the temporary pleasures of this world to satisfy my desires. Don't get me wrong, God has provided me with many blessings and I appreciated them all; good food, health, a home, etc. But I also realize that these are all temporary and one day they will all disappear. We are eternal beings created by God, for God, because He is a God of love and wants us to love and worship Him. It is of our own free will that we chose who or what we will worship, and God will not force His will upon us, it is for us to chose. If we chose Him, our reward is eternal life with Him; if not, well, it's in a place not so pleasant. Actually it will be a living hell that won't end, and eternity is a long time. I pray that you chose God; He is waiting on you, please hear His voice calling and answer yes Lord.
