Story behind the song
I wrote this song in 2010 and I just didn't have a chorus, but just an instrumental bridge. Minutes before I starting recording it - I scribbled down the chorus (John 17:3, I Tim 1:17). I originally was going to just leave it with the Jumbo and original vocals, but I decided to add two electrics two the mix. The song is about humbling yourself before the Lord and praising him when you have nothing left to offer him. On the recut of the vocals, I realized I was crying and was literally lifting up open - empty - hands. It's no stretch to say that the song itself is an offering.
