God does not promise us a rose filled garden, but He does promise to be with us on our journey and through the storms of life. Of all the songs I have written, this is the one that often listen to and think, "Why have I still not gotten that?" I still get frustrated when God chooses not to do what I want sometimes. But, perhaps that is the way it will always be. Learning to submit to His plan and not our own is a life long process.
