This is a touching and so moving song. It is a tribute to the great history and culture of the Native American - and the GREAT SPIRIT of One Life for All. Please tell your wonderful Cherokee Wife that her initial nod of song approval is echoed by those of us, like me, who identify through proud Native American heritage (my DNA has drum beats of Oglala Sioux from the Black Hills of South Dakota - via my Maternal Grandmother). Also, the song's
recorded Native American intro brought me back to my many years of happy days and nights in Oklahoma - and treasured times of Pow Wows, Art Exhibits, and other
Native American Art Forms like Literature, Music, and Dance
(for example, the Stellar Ballet of Maria Tallchief who was in residence at the University of Oklahoma while I was there).
And, as you can see, dear friend Joe, your song gave me back many unforgettable memories. Thank you for your outstanding musicianship, and the download of this "Earth Dance" song - One of the very best o

Great cricket intro to authentic pow-wow tribal performance. Then you take it away....
You are one hell of a fine musician and songwriter Joe.

Love that intro, takes us away to another land. Then the beautiful music that follows...gentle and soothing. Very skilfully arranged and composed.

I like the intro, it's very primitive and a kind of chaos.
At 1:05 it is changing. The flute is coming in with a melody, a sad melody.
I like the percussion joining that flute, it's kind of hypnotizing.
The song feels like mesmerizing about the past, about long long ago.

I think having a real Cherokee extended family may have given you a slight unfair advantage over the rest of us in this challenge Joe! Never mind you produced a wonderful delicate piece here and the chanting at the start sets it up brilliant. Superb production and I enjoyed this a lot!!

Dig the chanting and tribal vibe going on here at the intro and the change at about 1:15" to the melody of something special is just that - something special - way to go Joe!!!
