los angeles crowd did! san francisco? fag goat tea? weaverville! ooh wee? lake california. privacy! sacramento! plain phooey! these are some terrible places i have been! mortgages and houses for little unmarried women! polluted water for them all to swim in. don't drink it or it will surely kill you girls with guns going to shoot you! guy's with knives going to cut you! boring old cowboy's with stories of penguins? miles of pasture with barbed wire fences! blocks with dark alleys! hide mean snarly faces? everyone there knows all their places! reddings the place in which i liv the city council wants a better place to be in! they built a bridge for all the tourists a magic bridge that can tell time? they even built a new turn lane to get the people off of the freeway! but the damn thing looks like a big crane? digging a hole in the middle of the river? it was part paid for by the mac connell foundation. they took the money the lema's had left them! the will said? for the better of redding! so they built roads with shiny new pavement. and in the middle was bushes with red leaves! they put them there to make it look good. now all the homeless can sleep under those bridges? they look up to see all the tourists! who throw coins down to them just like they were feeding the pidgeons? we got bicycle trails that leed you to nowhere. jogging trails for wealthy fat women to work off the excess! but the mission needs more money? to feed all the mothers! who come in there hungry. you might be laughing? but it's not very funny! how the rich spend all the money. they passed a law and will put you in jail if you ask for any. the panhandlers had become too aggressive. begging for food at every exit? loitering law's! no standing around? free shoes? for the homeless! to use to get out of town. i wish woody was here! he could tell you better. he went and died! but thing's aint no better! dust bowl's gone now we got skid row. that neighborhood is getting bigger! i wonder what happens when we stop believing in your nursery rhymes!
