This is no ordinary housewife! I've been playing guitar since age 12(sorry, won't say how long ago that was!)and have been writing songs for about as long. It's only been for the last 5 years that I've actually been sharing them with people.

Lyrics
David’s got a ukulele and he plays it almost daily In the summertime And all the people like to hula when he plays be-bop-a-lula From the stage He can strum a little ditty and writes lyrics oh so witty Sometimes they even rhyme He’s been playing the ukulele since before the ukulele was the rage. Well he found it in Tahiti when David and his sweetie Went down for some sun And when she went out fishing he said that he was wishing For her line He said Karen I adore ya, but out here in Bora Bora This is how it’s done. So he strung the ukulele and strummed it very gaily for a time. Everybody gathers round Just to hear that novel sound When David plays he brings them to their knees Gents and ladies tap their feet Just to keep up with the beat And afterward they use it to serve cheese. So he brought back that ukulele and he plays it almost daily In the summertime And when he plays O Suzanna, Karen joins in on piana On the stage They’re playing on together through the rain and snowy weather And it’s quite sublime He’s been playing the ukulele since before the ukulele was the rage.
