When she finally died light shone down from the sky
Dolls laid down their heads and with painted eyes they cried
And while she is sleeping stars hide their face
Can I recall kisses that warmed my soul?
When the mountains edge cuts into the burning white sky
I’ll always see that face I knew lost in a sweet, sweet lullaby
And when the sun is swallowed and the earth dreams
I’ll recall the times she smiled
She smiled….smiled like God
