i knew this challenge would be right up your alley. the veteran detective sitting in a smoky club thinking about the case, you guys playing in the background... all the soloing here is excellent, riding along so nicely on the smooth rhythm section. a pleasure to hear. especially enjoyed the guitar work.

Certainly a really nice touch with the distorted guitar working with the trumpet soloing. (Oh so sweet). Dr Bob, this is an impressive jazz fusion piece that is seductive and corporeal. A wonderful contribution to the challenge this month, of course all of your incredible jazz performances are indeed a auditory treat. Nice the track picture too.

Perps beware - another cool tune, more distortion!
Jazzy smoky goodness all the way through!
