Story behind the song
when love grows cold...
Lyrics
You go to the place where you first met him and you still recall all the things that you said But you don’t remember what went wrong As time goes by it all fades to grey you believe it don’t matter anyway You try your best to be strong That’s just the way it is when lovers drift apart You don’t want to stay You don’t want to stay You don’t want to be here anymore Sometimes you feel so out of touch but you hold your head high when it hurts too much You know deep down it can’t go on Turning, changing, re-arranging – still the same in every way And in your heart you’re already gone That’s just the way it is when excuses all are done You don’t want to stay You don’t want to stay You don’t want to be here anymore I can see you hurting deep inside I can see you standing there with pain you just can’t hide Solo That’s just the way it is when love has finally died You don’t want to stay You don’t want to stay You don’t want to be here anymore June 2013 JMB

Very nice song. Like it. Have you thought of recording an alternative version with a drum track and more prominent bass and keyboards ? This song is strong enough for a full 'band' arrangement . . . one you'd maybe play live. Though this 'gentle' version is good by anyone's standards nonetheless. :). . . another station add for sure.
