Story behind the song
My poem 'Sea Henge' which I have used as the lyrics won the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids Lughnasadh 2013 Eisteddfod (short poem category).
Lyrics
I walk the time-worn causeway Past reeds and limpid pools Where once the wandering hunter paused At Curlew’s haunting call To Tide-line strewn with stories Of fair and distant Lands My footstep light I leave no trace On ever shifting Sands At ancient Henge in circle raised Above the brooding Fens In shadowed mists I bow to those Veiled from the sight of men I find my trance and welcome call To those who danced before Together we are spirit joined As one we guard the Lore Our sense of place and purpose strong We join now hand in hand In circle dance our ancient chant Casts blessings on our Land And now I sleep and in my dreams With soaring gulls I fly Across the dunes to lonely Fen Where Ocean meets the Sky

Very nice and peaceful sound to this both musically and vocally. Very melodic sound. Very nicely arranged and a nice mix. Peace and Blessings, John
