Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

Very nice themes and a very Halloweenish production! The distorted guitar sounds and the "Court of the Crimson King"-organ creat an eerie atmosphere, that fits perfectly with the theme. Great job, Carlo!

Carlo, this is an incredibly great Halloween song. Your superb guitar intro and following blend perfectly with the other instrumentation/(choral sounding) and create a haunting image of a "WONDROUS NIGHTMARE"...It is our very good fortune that you had this music/dream, remembered it, and were able to recapture it into a FANTASTIC song for the 2013 CBC Halloween Monsters Ball.

Yes I like the idea that something can be both terrifying and uplifting at the same time- great concept! Amazing sounds as per - especially love the 'Tron and the Ian Anderson flute. Cool tune Carlo and I liked the Cthulhu avatar too!

I'm a big fan of that opening chord pairing. Like the confusion between a fading dream and those waking moments, this piece leaves you with unanswered questions. Unsettling in a very good way.

Great story Carlo...and I'm so glad you remembered the song after you woke up. I sometimes hear music in dreams but I often forget how it goes later on, lol! Very haunting piece, lots of soul and emotion. I found it to be quite mesmeric and trippy - a first class creation.

It feels like different times are coming together, from the Middle Ages until the 60's in the Flower Power.
I taste as well something Pink Floyd-like and something Mike Oldfield-like.
