Story behind the song
the edited and altered version.written at work with a beat up acoustic.played and sung everything but drums.thanks to Joe Hill for recording this.Originally I wrote this about an ordinary kid then changed him to King Tut for the Egyptian challenge.
Lyrics
Man of 9 He speaks for no one, just belaying a truth the gold in which he lies only a disguise buried so deep in a world apart underneath the sun,his life had just begun he watches you like everybody else he sees them come and go knowing its a show just another number this man of 9 until his final breath,he s cheated after death Don t you dare call him a child because in his eyes he s outlived us all Save your stares and show your smiles and always treasure your only life Don t you dare call him a child

Thanks
You did a great job on this song, Patrik! Your Guit playing and vocal are excellent. This was a most refreshing song interpretation of the CBC Ancient Egypt Song Theme! And thank you for the dl to our JBBQ Best of Best Muisic Station.

Fantastic 90's feel about this Patrik - love it! Little flavours of Alice in Chains and Metallica (2 very good things) but the whole is truly original and a really top notch piece of songwriting. Wonderful stuff I enjoyed this a lot!

This reminds me of some of the 70's great prog rock bands like Jethro Tull, King Crimson and Pink Floyd. The guitar work is absolutely great, though i would prefer a litle more brillance in the sound. The vocals are raw, very "live" and absolutely outstanding as they bring so much life, energy and passion into this song.
The singing was a great surprise to go along with your most excellent shredding. Big smiles on this one!
