Story behind the song
First ever song had to be rather generic and simple to get into the gist of writing. About a girl who isn't all about the city life and flash dinners and prefers to go out into nature and have good old fashioned fun, at the lake, in the truck getting down and dirty. With the chorus being about the proclaimed love for this woman and how I'd "cross county lines and move oceans" for her.
Lyrics
Verse 1 I pick her up to take her out, In her jeans not in a gown. Drive her down to the lake, Sit her on my tailgate. Shes a country girl from way outa town. Hands up on her hips, And I lean in for a kiss. This is what we know is right, Sitting in the moonlight, She's the epitome of bliss. Chorus Starlight baby, Shine so brightly. Cross county lines for you. Move oceans baby, wait I'm not through. Verse 2 Dust up on her boots, A glimmer in her eye. She likes to play rough, yeah, Wheelspins in my truck. Just say yes and I'll be your guy.
