I sometimes enjoy beans on toast for breakfast. And in the cracks between the eating, sleeping, laughing, crying, working, breathing experience that is my life there sometimes slips out songs like these.

Story behind the song
Back when I was playing in a Welsh language Gospel Pop group, one of the members wrote a Welsh lyric about 'Joy in Christ'... which kind of translated into 'Alive in the Lord'. Never did get recorded... but the idea was to 'tongue-in-cheek' copy what was going around in the early eighties. Well now it's years later and thanks to the wonder of computers I actually have access to simulated drum machines and synths. So this turned into one of those 'fun in the basement projects that was, well... a lot of fun for me. And if anybody else in all of creation gets a smile out of it, then mission accomplished. The phrase 'Alive in Christ' was originally envisioned as going where the 'HEY' is shouted. I tried it and it just didn't work. So the title phrase got dropped. I can do that. It's my song. LOL. Enjoy!
