Story behind the song
story behind the song: Museum London has weekly saturday morning walks which are informative, interesting and gives me a purpose to walking during the summer months. The first one, The River Walk, was yesterday and i had decided to write about it prior to the walk. however instead of the folk song i planned, apparently i got distracted by at least one work of art during it, and ended up with this instead.
Lyrics
another morning smiles across the place
a gift, the sunlight savouring your face
mesmermized, watching, as you talk,
following every curve, like a river walks
golden hilights everywhere
caught in your eyes, and by your hair
remaking history as my heart's caught,
snagged as you move like a river walks
a now and forever as time stops
lost in your currents like a river walks
