story behind the song: a young bedraggled raccoon climbed over the fence and up the tree in the backyard and sat licking his wounds. unlike the normal mischievous/inquisitive air i have seen in most kits, this one looked rather fed up with life as he had known it so far. so i anthropomorphized him, and thinking up a tad darker "rocky raccoon" (lennon/mccartney, beatles remember now?) boy/girl story ending wrote this. (it has been pointed out at least one raccoon song has been done before, but i only know "rocky raccoon" which really wasn't about a raccoon at all)
