This Man

Sky of Change is a recording entity that has morphed from an eclectic collection of instrumentals to an experimental album of rock songs "Waitin' to See" (released under a previous artist name called "As It Is") and back again. These entities were created and recorded by songwriter/composer Dave Schweizer.

Sky of Change now features the baritone voice of singer William Swann Clausen (Naked Picassos, Smith & Clausen, and Modern Myth) and Dave's instrumentation (guitars, bass, drum beats, keyboards). Additional musicians include keyboardist/percussionist Alan Benson Williams, lead guiarist Kenney Kasman and percussionist Tania Arrias - their extraordinary touches radiate on various songs on the new album called "Runway of Life".

Dave’s background includes having material of his synched on television shows and spots on HBO, TBS, MTV and others. Some of his songs with lyrics have been represented by renowned publishers (Scotty Turner, Woodrich Publishing Co.,Tennessee Valley Music), and performed by other artists.

In addition to writing both words and music on many songs, Dave collaborates with folk/roots in his non-performing folk/roots duo called Maple Bridge with fellow songwriter Mark Phillip Lopez. He also co-writes with country singer Debbie Goodman, rock singers Sarah Uhle (Berklee College of Music alumna) and William Clausen, and others.
