I am Mr. Amaha O. Dubem Kelly Am popularly known with Dubem Kelly or Bishop as my stage name. The Director of Starsfamily studios Onitsha based in the eastern part of the Country Nigeria, West Africa. I obtained my Basic Education between 1984-1989 while I passed out from further studies in the college in 1996. Thereafter I enrolled into so many other institutions of learning for further trainings in the Entertainment Industry because I discovered my music carrer talent on time, and I engaged myself seriously into diverse training so that I can develop it even when every member of my family is absolutely against my desire and passion for music. but I insisted in pursuing my dream and tell my parents the need for me to choose my carrer myself than them doing that for me. In 1987 when I was 12 yrs old still in the primary Education; I worn scholarships because of my music performances in different occasion. Even at that age; other schools do call me to be their soloist during their school choral competitions. In 1992 when I was in the college; I was made the leader of the school choral crew due to my performance, the gift of song composition and wonderful coordination during the singing events. With all these things happening to me; even when I don’t really know exactly what is going on; but one thing that helped me; was that I have already had the passion of what I was doing without looking back and also the little encouragement I got in those days helped me a lot in developing this awesome talent. Then from 1994- 1997 I headed about four powerful accapeela groups in the state, in the mid year of 1998; I released my first album and from then till now; I have about eight released albums. I am not just a performing artist. I have achieved a lot in the Entertainment industry but not yet satisfied. As a performing artist, I have performed in different occasions and different places within the country. As a multi-instrumentalist; I have also played in so many events and concerts with other musicians in the state and across. I have also trained not less than 250 Musicians both singer and instrumentalists who are big stars today. As a music producer; I have produced not less than 400 albums to different artists in Nigeria. In not less than 25 music / Drama competitions, I have been chosen as one of the judges due to my knowledge over what I am doing. I have been equally participated in lecturing over 10 thousand people in seminars and mass choir training within the country. Finally, on 30th November 2014 and 29th December 2014 I will be taking two different set of musical groups to a singing competition in the city. Am the producer of the best selling kids songs in Nigeria today known as Kingdom kids in melody (A.K.A imeotua Kids) which sold about 9,000,000 copies within the space of one year. The song was also translated to French language due to the demand in some French speaking countries. As a musical video Director; I have also directed a lot of musical films to so many marketers and artists in Nigeria. In the history of kids music in Nigeria and Africa at Large; I have made an impact as long as music industry is concern. currently I am the sound Engineer in charge at Starsfamily studios Nigeria, as a performing artist; instrumentalist; composer; song writer; producer; Director and sound Engineer you can’t get out of the studio when am working without achieving a good job. Am the type that lavishes his night sleep in creating things; trying to bring new ideas in the industry and is what I am known for. The concept and uniqueness of every song starts from the day of the programming in the studio. The rhythm is the melody; the melody is the song; the song is the message; the message is life. Though I am versatile but am a gospel singer practicing originality and uniqueness in what am called to do.
